It’s because when we’re in love, it shows.

A person glows differently when they are treated right and loved properly. That is why being in a loving and caring relationship is linked to happiness.

According to science, being in love has positive effects on our minds and body.

We go through a physiological process where we produce large amounts of oxytocin (a.k.a., love hormones). Oxytocins help lower our body’s production of cortisol — a stress hormone.

Basically, the more loved we feel, the less stressed we are, and the less stressed we are, the happier we feel. This is the reason why people assume that being in a relationship is the key to happiness.

I hope this explanation helps.
