MEN EMPOWERMENT
Men Should Take Responsibility For Their Own Happiness and Get Married
Get Up, Get Out, and Meet Someone
Americans are getting more unhappy, especially men. In an article by the Boston Globe, the biggest threat facing middle-aged men isn’t smoking or obesity. It’s loneliness.
Let me tell you a story I first heard about in 2019.
Meet Dave.
He lost his daughter to cancer. Five months later, he lost his wife to the same illness.
For months, he spent most of his time alone, grieving in his basement. According to him, at that time, he didn’t care anymore. He was ready to give up.
But because he was a religious man, he could not dare to take his own life.
However, one thing was for certain, he wasn’t happy. And he realized needed to do something about it.
He finally mustered up the strength to pick himself up when he remembered what his late wife had told him before her passing.
She told Dave to live a happy life.
She wanted him to start over — to find love and create beautiful memories with someone he loves.
She wanted Dave to find a companion, to move on, and find love once more.
And so he did.
You can watch his full story here:
Dave flew to Ukraine where he met a beautiful Ukrainian woman. They got married, he moved to Ukraine, and is currently living a happy life with Nina (his new wife).
Here’s a screenshot of the happy family:
Dave’s story tells us that:
We, ourselves, have the power to change the course of our life.
We, ourselves, make the choice — the choice to live happily.
It’s a matter of making that choice and taking responsibility for our own happiness.
So, to the many men (and women) out there currently struggling and complaining about how unhappy, miserable, or lonely they are, take action and you will receive results.
I hope this article motivates you to find YOUR OWN happiness.
